Why am I running for Commissioner?

Because I love where we live. When you have the ability to help, it is your duty to serve. It is my duty to protect, defend, and fight for us!

I am a native in the 4th. Both sides of my family live here and are buried here. I started life here on Hinds Creek in an old log house with one sink and no bathroom. I went from Kindergarten to eighth-grade at Big Ridge Elementary, my daughter goes there now and my other daughter will soon. I work in the 4th. I am a Deacon here in the 4th. I have lived in the 4th all my life and I will die in the 4th.

What does all this mean? It means I have a vested interest in our community. It means that I will not make quick and rash decisions, but will always consider our long-term effects. I will not make decisions just for myself, but for all of us—my family, your family, all that live here.

I love where I live and I will see her flourish. I will not stand for her to be trampled on. I will defend my family and so will I defend our homes—our community.

These are not just words. I am sincere. I ask that you too protect, defend, and fight for our homes by helping me. I ask that you vote for me, Greg Davis, for 4th District County Commissioner of Union County.

Thank You.
